PDC-LITE Scanning Density Control System

PDC-Lite is a scanning density control system that can be equipped on Komori sheetfed printing presses up to 32 inches in size for density control of 4-color process inks.

Since PDC-Lite enables numeric density control with easy operation at a low investment point, it is the ideal entry system for printers who intend to implement full-fledged numeric control of print quality. Measures densities, dot gain, trapping, contrast, hue error, and grayness, with results displayed on a touch-panel monitor using a range of graphs.

Operation is simple and intuitive even for operators with short experience thanks to an interactive interface. Equipped with a function to move densities toward target values by feedback of density measurements to the press (PQC).
