K-Station provides central control of multiple Komori presses and functions as an interface to outside systems (such as the Management Information System [MIS]).

This facilitates sending/receiving production data by JDF and permits data management.

K-Station sends the production control data and job control data in the CIP4/JDF data from the MIS and the CIP4/PPF data from prepress to multiple presses (KMS), and supports press-side makeready tasks.

In addition, production and maintenance data can be managed and stored, and necessary information can be sent as feedback to MIS. Linkage with existing process systems is possible through CSV files.
